It's served me well, but I'm wondering if I should change it up. Up until this point I've just been using the plasma pistol (now fully modded) you get at the very beginning from the guy who wants you to 'rescue his girlfriend'. I'll probably put it away when I get the holorifle, which I'd then put away for the YCS. Weapon-wise, I just got (level 9) a fully modded laser rifle for general sniping and long range use. I'll eventually go for pack rat and/or burden to bear, but those will be much later in the game. I'm playing an EW run using JSawyer's mod so my carry weight is severely limited.
